Mehmet Ali BORAN’s solo exhibition in Videoist Mardin “Let’s try this Again" will be opened in 15th October 2015 and will last until the 15th of November.
The works that Mehmet Ali Boran made for Videosit Mardin will be presented to the public first time.
Mexican writer, artists, philosopher, and scientist Manuel De Landa makes a reading of the histories of physical, biological and socio-cultural worlds from the history of coagulation, acceleration and deceleration processes that matter-energy flows are subjected to.
Through the works that Mehmet Ali Boran turns into dialogs between universal values and local experiences, and by using the languages of sculpture, installation, and video arts, he interprets the exiles of individual and social values, the nomadic states of talent and experience, and the destruction and reconstruction processes of social constructions. In this sense, Mehmet Ali Boran’s exhibition “Let’s try this again” focuses on the social dynamics that are homogenized by elimination and thus reminding us the scientific trajectory of De Landa’s works.

Mehmet Ali BORAN'ın Videoist Mardin'de yer alacak kişisel sergisi "Hadi Bir Daha Deneyelim" 15 Ekim 2015'de yapılacak açılışla 15 Kasıma kadar açık kalacak. Mehmet Ali Boran'ın Videoist Mardin sergisi için hazırladığı çalışmaları izleyici ile ilk kez karşılaşacak.
Meksikalı yazar, sanatçı, filozof ve bilim yazarı Manuel De Landa, fiziksel, biyolojik, ve sosyal kültürel dünyaların tarihini madde-enerji akışlarının maruz kaldığı katılaşma, hızlanma ve yavaşlama süreçlerinin
tarihi üzerinden okuyor, Mehmet Ali Boran ise evrensel değerler ile yerel deneyimlerin diyalogları haline getirdiği yapıtları ile bireyin ve toplumsal değerlerin sürgün olma durumuna, yeteneğin ve birikimin göçebelik hallerine, toplumsal inşaların, yıkım ve yeniden yapım süreçlerini heykel, yerleştirme ve video sanatının dili ile yorumluyor. Bu anlamda Mehmet Ali Boran'ın " Hadi Bir Daha Deneyelim" sergisi bir
ayıklama operasyonu ile aynılaştırılan toplumsal dinamiklere odaklanarak, De Landa'nın bilimsel izleğini aklımıza getiriyor.
